FTC Announces 2027 DNC Registry Fees for Telemarketers

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced updated fees for telemarketers to access phone numbers on the National Do Not Call (DNC) Registry for Fiscal Year 2027, beginning October 1, 2026.

What telemarketers need to know

Telemarketers calling U.S. consumers must access and use the National DNC Registry as required under applicable rules to help ensure they do not call consumers who have registered their phone numbers.

Telemarketers must subscribe each year for access to the Registry. The first five area codes are free to download, while exempt organizations, such as certain charities and political callers, may obtain the entire list at no cost.

Updated DNC Registry fees for FY 2027

Beginning October 1, 2026, the following fees will apply.

• $85 per area code, up from $82 in FY 2026

• $23,425 maximum annual charge for nationwide access, up from $22,626

• $43 per additional area code for a half-year subscription, up from $41

The FTC approved the updated fees in a 2-0 Commission vote.

The National DNC Registry gives consumers a way to opt out of telemarketing calls.
